In this realistic and intimate drama, Ángela, a deaf woman, and her hearing partner, Héctor, prepare for the arrival of their first child.  the pregnancy raises deep-seated anxieties for Ángela regarding communication and her ability to connect with her daughter.  As the couple navigates early oarenthood, a growing emotional rift develops when Héctor unintentionally marginalises sign language leaving Angela isolated in a hearing-centric world.
