Book Group meets this evening to discuss island author Katie Daysh's debut novel Leeward, which is the first part of a trilogy featuring characters Hiram Nightingale and Arthur Courtney.

The book belongs to the genre of Age of Fighting Sail fiction and in it Daysh describes life on fighting ships in the eighteenth century and issues which were as real for people of that era as they are for people today.
